Serpent

Serpent Necklace. Silver on titanium. The neck-cable is black rubber. This is a power piece, bold yet refined, absolutely unique. The titanium that I used was at one time destined to be part of a soviet nuclear submarine ... but that's anoher story.

Sgian Dubh

Sgian Dubh. Made using steel, black onyx, wood, leather, and part of an antler that I found by the river Dee, near Braemar. The deers eye on the handle wasn't a deliberate design feature, it appeared purely by accident of manufacture. This piece is entirely unique.

Penannular Brooch

Penannular brooch. Worn to hold a plaid/ cloak/ scarf/ etc in place. I've presented a mix of ideas in this penannular. It's moreso Gaelic in its form, 'though the detail is unmistakeably Pictish. It's made in sterling silver and is a unique and functional piece. The bar is hinged and an oxide was used in the finishing for contrast and the "old" appearance.

Neck Torc

The neck torc is a bold statement and is a piece to be worn proudly. This one is a contemorary take on a very ancient theme, stream-lined in weight and style as compared to our early examples. It is made solidly in sterling silver, and is unique in its design. I left the casting inclusions in the terminals and used an oxide in the finishing to give the piece an old feel.
